On May 7th, 2026 we celebrate an extraordinary milestone, 30 years of service from Tim Pattison, Managing Director of Interket UK.
Tim’s journey began in the most modest of roles, joining as a Telesales Trainee. It’s the kind of starting point that says a lot about a person, learning the business from the ground up, building relationships, understanding customers, and developing a deep appreciation for the detail that drives success.
From there, Tim progressed to Junior Sales Executive at ICS Labelling in 1999, then part of the Stampiton Group of Companies.
It was also during this time that Tim met his future wife, Paula, proving that joining the business was not only a great career move, but a life-changing one too. Together they went on to have two lovely children, Chloe and Joseph, completing the Pattison family story alongside his professional journey.
In 2012, Tim stepped into the role of Sales and Operations Director, a position that demanded both strategic thinking and operational discipline. He delivered both, helping guide the business through growth and change, always with a clear focus on people, customers, and performance.
In 2019, Tim was appointed Managing Director of Interket UK, a role that, as it turned out, would be anything but straightforward.
Within months, the business was facing the potential dam collapse in Whaley Bridge, followed swiftly by the unprecedented global disruption of Covid-19, and then the uncertainty of Brexit. As if that weren’t enough, the years that followed brought paper industry strikes, significant group changes, and ongoing geopolitical tensions impacting global markets.
Through all of this, Tim has provided calm, measured leadership. He has navigated uncertainty without losing direction, supported his team through challenge, and ensured the business remained resilient and forward-looking.

And while he may modestly claim otherwise, he is often recognised as the most “technical non-technical”, person, able to bridge complex detail with clear, practical understanding.
What stands out most is not just the length of service, but the consistency of contribution. Tim’s career reflects dedication, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to the success of the business and the people within it.
Thirty years is a remarkable achievement. It represents loyalty, experience, and a legacy that continues to shape Interket UK today.
Tim, thank you for your leadership, your resilience,
and your unwavering commitment.
Congratulations on 30 years!
